I'm Khalil Albatran, an independent interdisciplinary Palestinian artist working across theater direction, acting, music, and research. Based in Palestine, I hold a BA in Drama and Theater from the Drama Academy in Ramallah, in partnership with Folkwang University of the Arts in Germany.
Through community-based theater, collective writing, and embodied expression, my work explores themes of political and social oppression, identity, and resistance. For me, theater and music are not just artistic practices—they are a way of life and a form of dialogue rooted in experience and creative research.
